I am Marilyn Gale, the elementary school counselor at Bertha Godfrey School, Bryant School, and Lucia Wallace School. I have been an elementary school counselor at the Algona Community School for twenty years. Before that I was a junior high and high school counselor at Ventura, Boone, Burt - Titonka, and Twin Rivers Community School. As you can see, counseling students has been an important part of my life for many years.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband. We like to travel, go to movies, and spend time with our children. We have three daughters and six grandchildren, all who live in the Des Moines/Ames area. I also like to swim laps at the YMCA and/or Algona Aquatic Center, read, and quilt.
